years ago, my father built an outdoor planter for my mother. Unfortunately, Dad passed before he had a
chance to “plant” anything in it.
In
the early 90s, while walking thru the deep woods of the property, I spotted
wild ferns growing close to the railroad bank.
In what turned out be an extremely difficult task, I dug up four ferns
and transplanted them to the planter.
All grew and have continued to thrive.
