Oh, joy! Norell Avenue (County Road 55) is undergoing
resurfacing this summer. Personally, I
wish the project would take all year as it’s keeping the traffic down on what’s
turned into a speedway for non-residents, who must think it’s some sort of
shortcut (to where?). Truck traffic—in particular—is
annoying as the rumbling noise they make racing over the railroad tracks disrupts
the peace and quiet of rural life.
So, as the sign says, if you don’t
live here, stay off the darn road and give us residents a real summer vacation.
