Another Homecoming
It’s a waterfowl
welcome back at Bon Bon Pond! This week
the Mallards, Wood Ducks and Hooded Mergansers returned to Bon Bon Pond, and
our Trumpeter Swans to the area. Also,
the geese have settled in comfortably after a few rough weeks due to
unseasonable snow/cold. It’s so good to
have our feathered friends back home !

Saluting Our Neighbor
Get out and enjoy a park this week! Here in Minnesota there are five National
Park Service sites: Grand Portage National Monument, Mississippi
National River & Recreation Area, North Country National Scenic
Trail, Pipestone National Monument and Voyageurs National Park. Additionally, we have 74 state parks, plus
many regional and local parks for outdoor lovers to enjoy.
Around Bon Bon Pond we enjoy every opportunity to pay
tribute to our beautiful next door neighbor, Pine Point Regional Park.
