Truly
one of the most beautiful birds in the world, the exquisite Mandarin duck is a
native of eastern
Russia, China and Japan but frequently migrates thru southern California.
Unfortunately, most of us in the rest of the continental
United States will never get to experience the splendor of these colorful
creatures up close but we can enjoy photos, thanks to the artistry of our chief
photographer. Chandel recently captured a
pair of travelers as they visited Lindo
Lake and was kind enough to share them with us. Enjoy!
