Dig These Digs

I love neighboring Marine-on-St. Croix. It’s quaint charm and old world elegance enchant me, and the  myriad of  tourists who visit each year.  The houses that line what makes up the main street aren’t gaudy mega mansions but rather sturdy, meticulously maintained cottage types comprised of real wood, stone and other quality materials.  Each is lovely but one abode literally shines above the rest as its roof is made of gorgeous, gleaming copper.  While visiting my favorite haunt, the Marine Landing restaurant, this past week I was surprised to see a For Sale sign on this incredible residence.  If you have $634,000 you don’t know what to do with,  this architectural masterpiece offers breathtaking views of the scenic St. Croix River, its own private dock, and, of course, the world's most beautiful roof.
