The latest addition to the
Bon Bon Pond bird feeder battalion is a custom-crafted/designed cedar tray-type,
perfect for salted-in-the-shell peanuts and suet. As I’ve talked about before, some birds, such
as White-breasted Nuthatches, Blue Jays and Eastern Kingbirds--prefer to stand
and eat. This lovely feeder is an
upgrade over our other tray-type as it provides a roof to shelter the food from
the elements.
The feeder was a gift from
our friend, Jeff, whose late brother made it for his mother, Phyllis. We are honored to add this beauty to our
collection. It’s already received rave “beaks
up” from the birdies.
