New Year's Dreams

Another new year is right around the corner and with it the time-honored tradition of making resolutions to accomplish goals.  All too often these hopes and wishes fade away unfulfilled. Astrologer Tim Stephens from Astral Reflections has put a new spin on this annual ritual.  Read on and consider giving it a try.

“Everybody is generous in their own way. The cosmos is generous, too, and often fulfills our wishes. Here’s a little ‘trick’ I invented a few years ago. It’s very easy: write your most heart-felt wish on a piece of paper. Address it to God, to the universe, etc. Fold this paper in half, two times (so you have 4 layers). Place it under your mattress, and leave it there until you forget about it. In a week or so, I’ll tell you why this works.

“The month ahead features PISCES’ wishes, which are most likely to succeed if the wish is written 2 p.m. January 10 to 11 a.m. January 11. (All times PST.) Because I can’t cover the whole year for everyone in this small preamble, here are the immediate ‘best wish’ times for all signs: LIBRA, write your wish between dawn and 1:30 p.m. December 31. SCORPIO might get good results if he/she does this January 2, 12:01 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. SAGITTARIUS’ best time is January 5, before 3 p.m. CAPRICORN, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. January 6.

“AQUARIUS (I already gave you this wish method a few weeks ago) – January 8, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. ARIES, write, fold and place your wish 9 p.m. to midnight on the 12th. TAURUS, try anytime on the 15th (strongest after 11 p.m.). GEMINI, January 17, noon to midnight, or January 31, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. CANCER, try January 19, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

“LEO, your ‘wish time’ this month is anytime between 9:50 a.m. January 21 to 3:30 a.m. January 23. VIRGO, make your wish on the 28th, 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. or February 21, 3 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“Some notes: the outcome of your wish is affected by your faith in the results, and, ultimately, by your faith in the benevolence of the cosmos/the divine. (Wishes seldom come true if you’re bitter or resentful.) Oddly enough, frivolous wishes do come true – if, under a mask of frivolity, you’re actually contacting a crucial desire.

“These things determine whether your wish will come true: 1) is it fair to everyone? Is your desire deep and central? (Don’t grit your teeth – desire is NOT determination or will power.) Do you believe it can come true? Are you writing it in a calm, reverent mood, without distractions? Is it realistic?

"One last note: fate, destiny are controlled by our unconscious. The more your wish aligns with your unconsciousness’s purposes and goals, the more quickly and solidly it will come true. Good luck, my friends!”
